About Me

My goal is to encourage more families to take the homeschooling plunge. It's a scary move but one you won't regret!

Sarah's Graduation Cake

This was for Sarah's high school graduation.  She will be attending college for Culinary Arts with a specialty in pastry.  The chef's hat is all cake covered in fondant and the "sarah" and cooking tools were cut using my cricut cake.  I made the JWU logo out of fondant.

Taylir's graduation cupcakes

I made these for Taylir who graduated this past weekend.  I made the LCS, Soccer balls, grad caps and chickens out of fondant and the SUNY Brockport out of gum paste.  These were set up as a cupcake tower.

Graduation

Graduation cake for Katie.

Bridal Silhouette

This was for 2 different teachers getting married this summer.

Celebrate

This was to celebrate father's day and birthdays.  My friend's mother loves my gerbera daisies so she asked me to put some on her cake.

Pink, Pink and more Pink

This was for a little girl turning 1.  Her mother wanted pink frosting, pink animal prints and pink animals.  So that's what she got!  I made the animals out of gum paste and outlined the details with royal icing.

ELMO!

This was a last minute cake for Olivia for her 2nd birthday.  Her theme was Elmo, so I made a gum paste Elmo to sit on top of the cake.

Club Penguin Birthday Cake

I made this for Stavros who turned 10 today.  He was having a Club Penguin theme.  I made the igloo, boat and light house all out of rice krispy treats and covered them in fondant.  The penguins, puffles, trees, rocks, tubes, fish and surf boards are all made of fondant.  This was a really fun cake to detail.

Dewar's Birthday Cake

I made this cake for Bill who turned 60.  I made 6" cakes and layered them with cookies n cream buttercream and carved it into the bottle shape on top.  I crumb coated it and covered with fondant and airbrushed it.  I cut the letters out with my Cricut cake and painted them gold.
