Binghamton Bearcats!

This was a graduation cake for Tim who just graduated from Binghamton University. I used my Cricut to cut out the letters and I cut out the bearcat with an X-acto knife. This was a vanilla cake with chocolate fudge filling.

So, of course, I HAD to come comment. Hope they come back soon.

  4. Looks like you're off to a great start with the Cricut Cake! Is it easy to use? I read some bad reviews about it but I saw a video demo and it looks pretty simple. What are the pros and cons? Maybe I'll ask Santa to bring me one! Keep up the good work! :o)

  6. Thank you!
@Alyssa...thank you for the comment :-)
@Loren...The Cricut Cake is hard to get used to. Fondant and gum paste has to be frozen before it gets cut or it stretches too much. That part of it is a pain and is super time consuming. I'm learning that I need to get several mats so I always have one ready. It's just a matter of getting used to how it works. I just bought sugarveil to use in it. I'll let you know how that works.
@Whimsy...it's too bad we dont live closer..lol. You could borrow my Cricut and I'd use your printer. That's my next investment and I cannot wait!
